USBWall 1.1 - FAQ
- What is USBWall?
USBWall is a Windows® based application that protects your system from malwares such as viruses, worms and trojans that spread through removable storage devices such as USB flash disks, memory sticks and external hard disks.
- I have an anti-virus software on my PC. Why do I need USBWall?
Anti-virus products depend on signatures and it requires constant updates. Therefore new malwares are not known to these products unless you update its database. USBWall is not a signature based product, it does not require constant updates and it can detect new malwares that spread through removable storage devices.
- Do I have to uninstall my current anti-virus to run USBWall?
No. You don't have to uninstall your current anti-virus to run USBWall. USBWall will work smoothly with other anti-virus products, in fact USBWall is dedicated for malwares that spread through removable storage devices and it can not protect your PC from malwares that spread through emails or Internet, thus it is advised that you run USBWall with other anti-virus product to get full protection.
- What is AUTORUN?
